| Medium power view of a chondrosarcoma
| A close-up view of abnormal clusters of cells in a
chondrosarcoma.
It would be useful to contrast this with images of
normal cartilage, such as 1174.
In a normal cartilage, chondrocytes are usually
visualized in pairs lying within lacunae.
The nuclei of the cells are visualized as small
dark-staining dots.
Notice the nuclei are extremely large and unequal in
size in this image.
