| Thrombus in Common Iliac Artery
| View is of the posterior aspect abdominal block of organs.
The aorta is opened through the posterior wall to reveal
the ostia of the celiac and sup. mesenteric arteries and
the renal arteries.
Note the discrete thrombus occluding thr right iliac artery.
The minimal if any evidence of arteriosclerosis suggests
that this may be an embolus, i.e., a thromboembolus.
