The glands are disorganized and scattered
Large dilated glands with irregular epithelial ling is seen
The appearance is that of a disorganized epithelium rather than one which is undergoing cellular proliferation

Unknown.
Pathogenesis

Unknown.
May be hyperplasia or hamartoma.,
Epidemiology

May be associated with Gardner's syndrome or familial polyposis of colon.
Also sporadic
Identified in adulthood
General Gross Description

Small mucosal lump (<5 mm) which may be single or multiple.
General Microscopic Description

One or more dilated glands.
Lined by normal although compressed epithelium.
Clinical Correlation

Asymptomatic, incidental finding.
Not associated with progression to malignancy.
