| Metastatic colon adenocarcinoma to liver
| This is a section of liver containing a single large tumor
which is partially hemorrhagic and necrotic in its center.
Note that the liver parenchyma is normal - noncirrhotic.
A single large liver mass is usually a primary hepatocellular
carcinoma; specially in the context of cirrhosis.
Single metastatic carcinoma in liver is treatable by surgical
excision.
