Adenocarcinoma of Colon
Adenocarcinoma of Colon

This high power photomicrograph shows malignant cells arranged in glands around central lumens some of which contain cellular debris.
The nuclei are hyperchromatic with an irregular chromatin pattern and occasional large nucleolus.
The red arrow points to a mitotic figure.
The nuclei can be found at the lumenal border of the cells which reflects a loss of polarity.
