Cirrhosis
Cirrhosis

Low power view of a cirrhotic liver, to demonstrate the overall morphology.
In a normal liver, one would see mostly hepatocytes arranged in lobules with little connective tissue.
In this cirrhotic liver, on the other hand, one sees a great deal of connective tissue, surrounding nodular aggregates of hepatocytes.
