Metastatic Adenocarcinoma

A high power view of a focus of metastatic adenocarcinoma in the liver.
The liver is on the left, the tumor to the right.
The arrow points to the central lumen of the malignant gland.
Note the malignant cells are larger than the normal hepatocytes, with a higher N:C and larger nucleus.
The malignant nuclei are also darker staining, with irregular chromatin.
