| Prostatic Squamous Metaplasia
| The normal glandular epithelium of the prostate
has undergone squamous metaplasia.
There are no longer discernible lumens to the glands,
and the epithelium is not columnar.
This metaplastic change was seen in glands
adjacent to a focus of prostatic infarct.
