• The photograph shows bilateral cystic kidneys,
bilateral dilated and tortuous ureters, and dilated
bladder (B).
• On examination of the urethra, the mid portion
was completely obstructed and the proximal
urethra was dilated.
• The cystic maldevelopment of the kidneys is
believed to be secondary to the congenital
urethral obstruction
