Multicystic Renal Dysplasia/Obstruction • The photograph shows dilated proximal urethra, dilated bladder and bilateral dilated and tortuous ureters. • The mid-portion of the urethra was completely obstructed. The urethra had ended as a blind pouch. • The right and left kidneys (not shown) showed bilateral multicystic dysplasia, presumably as maldevelopment secondary to the urethral obstruction.
