Mucinous Cystadenoma of Ovary (20X) • The nuclei are basal; the cytoplasm is apical and contains a large mucin vacuole. • This epithelium resembles endocervical epithelium. • The stroma is composed of fibroblasts with spindly nuclei. • There is no pleomorphism or mitotic activity. • There is no evidence of epithelial hyperproliferation or stromal invasion.
