Normal Squamous Parabasal Cells on Pap Smear (High Power)

The predominant cell type is parabasal although a few superficial cells are present at the top of the image.
The cells have a nucleus with finely granular chromatin.
The nuclei have a delicate membrane and no visible nucleolus.
The N:C is much higher than that of the intermediate cell.
Scattered neutrophils are also seen.
