| High Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion on Pap Smear (High Power)
| The cluster of cells in the center of the photograph is composed of abnormal squamous cells.
The nuclei are enlarged several times relative to the nuclei of the few normal intermediate and superficial squamous cells.
The nuclei are hyperchromatic and have an irregular contour.
Chromatin granules are difficult to see in this image but are large.
Cytoplasm is scant permitting the classification of high grade SIL.
