•The characteristic feature of this neoplasm is the
presence of uniform, small cells with scant cytoplasm,
separated by large cells with abundant cytoplasm.
•These large cells with abundant cytoplasm represent
tissue macrophages.
•The cells in between are the proliferating lymphoblastic
cells.
